The price was very reasonable, and they even had a nice coffee option. The food cooked by the handsome brother was delicious. Whenever I had a problem or question, the boss was always there with a can-do attitude. The overall experience at this hostel was truly amazing and memorable!

We had a great experience staying at Cloud Youth in Zhangjiajie. the staff at reception were incredibly friendly and even though they didn't speak English, they made an effort to communicate with us using Google Translate. the dorms were small but clean, and each one had a kettle for our convenience. the hostel had typical Chinese squatting toilets with showers, and we found them to be sufficient. One interesting thing about the hostel was that we could write on the walls in the staircase. the location was also convenient, just a 10-minute walk from the bus and train stations. the reception provided us with a map of the forest park, which was very helpful. They also gave us clean bedsheets upon arrival and we were provided with two quilts, which we needed as it got quite cold. the hostel had hot water available and a good WiFi connection. it was a cheap and enjoyable stay. Cons: For us, Cloud Youth hostel was ideal 😊.

Even though the owner couldn't speak English, she used translation apps to communicate with me, making sure I had everything I needed. The rooms were spacious and perfect for repacking my big suitcases. The staff at check-in were helpful, and the hostel's location near the bus station and local street food options made it convenient for exploring Wulingyuan and enjoying meals.
